Pakistan Cleft Lip and Palate Association (PCLAPA) has announced that it would hold its free plastic surgery camp from February 22 to March 3 this year.

Pakistan Cleft Lip and Palate Association (PCLAPA) announced on Sunday that it will hold its free plastic surgery camp from February 22 to March 03.

Cleft Lip and Palate Association (PCLAPA) as a voluntary organization will hold free plastic surgery camp from Nov 12 to 19.

These facts were highlighted at the inaugural ceremony of a three-day workshop ‘Recent Trends in Cleft Lip and Palate Management’, which was held at Arag Auditorium, Dow University of Health Sciences. The workshop was organised by the plastic surgery department in collaboration with the professional development centre of the university.

The Vice Chancellor of Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), Professor Masood Hameed Khan, has stated that there is a great need to increase the number of plastic surgeons as the number of children born with cleft lips or palates in Pakistan is increasing.
